London has many varied and interesting wine bars.

Kettners is in Romilly Street, not far from Wardour Street and near Leicester Square, London.
Kettners is an up-market wine bar that serves a huge range of champagne, malt whiskies and luxury brandies. The furniture is comfortable (lots of leather) and the good whisky is single malt.
Kettners is more expensive than a pub, it is a luxurious place to hang out and chill for a couple of hours.
There is a restaurant attached to Kettners - never tried it.
